Vehicle Description

Too many projects

No time to play with this one

Someones dream come true This is an easy project to finish and when done have a sweet little cruiser / drag car and ? I already built a V8 chevette and this is really a much better way to go as it will handle far better while running like a scalded rabbit.

Like I said I've owned one before and I wish it was as solid as this one is Theres no real rust any where except some rot around the grille on the hood but you really want to throw away the hood and get an aftermarket fiberglass hood anyway to keep the weight down and there are so many spare body parts I wont try to list but you could almost rebody it with all the spares. Brand new never used Mickey Thompson street tires on it -Way too many Goodies too List

The 4.3 Vortech is complete and has custom headers  aluminum intake and holley four barrelland MSD ignition. Trans is turbo 350 Automatic and it has the stock 3.73 rearend which will live for a while behind an auto trans but you'll want to come up with a real one out of an S10 with discs soon Im sure!

Wish I could finish it  but my loss is your next toy!

Whatever the reason I've been unable to post this to my ad for the last 2 days so I'm foeced to try again. In order to answer the numerous inquiries I'm posting this to clear up alot that I didnt include in original description I'll be brief but give you the basics as I see them. First let me clarify Ive not torn into this project yet as I Have two other higher priority race projects ahead of this one but I do projects like this all the time and know which are difficult and which are simple and on a 1- 10 scale with 1 being easiest I'd call this a 3 for someone who really knows how to work on cars and racecars. The car is located just north of Tampa Florida. I wont give the exact reserve amount but its under $2000 There's 2 like new chrome bumpers included among all the extra body parts I mention in ad along with new tailight bezels. Theres also been inquiries about motor origins. In short I bought project from a Streetrodder aquaintance who bought it from a trusted friend! The motor was taken out of a running C10 truck and the project commenced from there! As a hot rodder /gearhead from the old school who built a V8 chevette 12 yrs ago you dont put all that money and time putting high dollar parts custom headers /distributor/fuel induction/ turbo 350/ on a junk motor. When I bought I checked to see that motor was free and thats all I needed to know to commence. I never heard it run as it was not and since I've yet to touch the project still is not ready to try and start . Those who have done these projects understand what I mean and if you dont get it you probably are best not to bid on this project because it is a PROJECT none the less. That's the only reason I was careful to list it in racecars- not cause it's not street legal, cause as it sits it is street legal, but I wanted to put it in front of those who usually work on these projects like me! 1. After making a decision whether to use stock rearend or upgrade to a newer s10 posi unit with disc brakes or use stock 3.73 rear end you'll Need driveshaft yokes changed and shaft shortened to fit in place of stock unit. 2. Needs High capacity fuel delivery system designed and Installed 3. Wiring loom wired up as I mentioned theres an aftermarket Ignition and distributor 4. Exhaust system built from headers back. 5. If I was finishing it I would change out radiator for a new 3-4 row aluminum radiator for keepin it cool Other than that it's just small odds and ends that all gearheads can handle in their sleep I wish my other racecars were this straitforward a project! Any further questions can be answered at 813-433-3828 but please read ad and this post fully before calling as I've put everything I know about this car in one or the other!!!!!
