This 1963 Citroen 2CV was treated to a frame off restoration in
2002 just before being displayed at the international citroen
club meet in Mass. It sits on a galvanized frame with a
602cc single barrel from a Mehari.
Used as a daily driver the past couple years, but still has
only 6600 miles since its restoration.
Runs beautifully in town or on the highway, it's stuffed with
sound insulation, and is very quiet ( by 2CV standards, not Lexus quiet )
The desert interior is very cool in the summer, and grey sheepskins
are used in the winter. Does not leak in the rain!!
All controls and switches work as they should, even the washer pump.
602 cc engine
29 HP
42 MPG
60 MPH crusing speed
Seats four comfortably
Now the bad news:
chip in paint on left rear fender
bubbling paint on hood hinge
camping trailer in some pictures is NOT included
