This rare investment grade Cadillac Allante was designed by Pininfarina and is in exceptional condition. It is almost as if it were just driven off the showroom floor. It is unbelievably clean inside and out from engine to trunk with no evidence of wear which impresses everyone who sees it. With its sparkling shade of Pearlescent white, this beautiful jewel attracts considerable attention with its stylish blending of form and function. The car came from California in the spring of 2007 and has always been garaged. It is all original from the exterior paint to the tasteful interior, the gorgeous leather seats, original trunk lining - even the original Window Sticker showing the MSRP which was $ 56,600. The Allante looks and drives like a dream and has a balanced combination of luxury and performance that produces a firm positive feel. The pictures show quite well how clean and perfect it is. Its gorgeous exterior is accented with a carefully chosen contrasting tan interior and seats with a chocolate dashboard under a custom fitted poly carpet cover. Though it is a Cadillac, it was designed and built in partnership with Pininfarina of Turin, Italy, the most famous designer and coach builder in the world and nothing was spared in creating such an elegant jewel. The Pininfarina Logo appears on each side between the front wheel and the door and also in chrome on the bottom of the instrument panel. The car shines in its 3 distinct versions - as a stylish soft top Convertible, a beautifully sculpted top down Roadster radiating both youth and elegance or with the easily attached aluminum hardtop it is transformed into a sleek world class Closed Coupe whose convertible version is essentially invisible. The unique underbody assembly was crafted in Detroit, then shipped to Turin, Italy, where the body panels, doors and fenders were assembled, aligned and welded together by hand. The hood, trunk cover and hardtop are aluminum as are the forged alloy wheels. Because of the painstaking old world craftsmanship, the fit and finish throughout is seamless and outstanding. The body panels received a 9 step corrosion protection treatment and are galvanized on both sides and then the finished body was given 4 exterior coats of paint with hand sanding of the first two coats. The painted body was then moved to a separate dedicated facility where the interior, the electronics, the sculptured leather Recaro seats and the Soft top and Hardtop were all hand fitted. It is this meticulous attention to detail together with the graceful esthetic design - classic yet futuristic and powerful - that makes the result of the Pininfarina-Cadillac partnership so unique. The saddle leather for the firm ultra comfortable seats alone underwent a 6-8 week treatment process. The two seats have 10 way power adjustment controls along each side. Once the Pininfarina portion of the work was finished, the body was shipped in a specially fitted Boeing 747 to Detroit to a special dedicated Cadillac Allante facility where the suspension and drive train were installed. When finally completed, the car was subjected to an exhaustive battery of tests and checks including a wide upen throttle test and a 25 mile road test carried out by 2 technicians. Every aspect of the car and its equipment was monitored and evaluated to assure quality and performance. This car has a special order option Analog Needle Dial Gauge instrument cluster. It has power steering with a tilt / telescoping steering wheel, 4 wheel anti-lock power disc brakes, tinted power windows, tempered glass rear windows (two - for both hard and soft top) with heat strips in both, tempered glass rear quarter windows, AM-FM multi speaker signal seeking radio with automatic antenna, a Cruise Control that is very easy to set and use and a factory Alarm system. The Hardtop has a storage rack which fits into the trunk ( with out the hardtop in the rack - see pictures ) The Hardtop is light and requires no tools to easily remove it or to attach it. The muffler and tailpipes are new and the result is an extremely pleasing mellow tone. The tires are Good-Year V-rated Eagles in excellent condition. The car starts and runs like new and essentially drips no fluids when parked. There is a very comprehsive Allante Owners Manual. The car is being sold "As is" with no warranty. Any prospective buyer is invited to inspect the car personally to verify its condition. This car has no rust and has had no accidents. It has just been pampered and enjoyed and noticed any place it went.
