I am the 2nd owner of this boat, having purchased it back in 1992 out of Lake Hopatcong, NJ. The engine has been professionally maintained since I've owned it. The gelcoat and hull are in excellent condition. The boat has a new mooring cover, custom made in 2007. It is the original engine with a total of 685 HRS on the meter. Of these, 85 HRS are freshwater use. 600 hours are brackish / saltwater use. The engine runs, however, a recent compression test on the engine cylinders shows that (6) are generating 145 PSI and (2) are generating 123 PSI. So, the engine will require some work; and possibly a full re-power. The trim tabs will need repair. The interior (fabric) is in fair to good condition. Carpet is in good condition. The front seats show wear. The rear bench seat is in poor condition and will need to be removed, or rebuilt. The interior cabin has a working stove, refrigerator and head and is generally in good condition. The table converts to a nice sleeping area for (2) adults. The boat has (2) marine grade, 2007 batteries; (1) deep cycle and (1) starter. The freshwater system is fully operational. The dashboard gauges are all operational, with the exception of the speedometer. It has a factory mounted dash installed compass. There is one shattered side vent window which should be an easy repair / replacement part. Forward navigation lights / bulbs will require a few replacements. The swim platform is in excellent condition. The Alpha Drive is also in good condition. The boat has close to a full tank of fuel, topped off at the end of last season.
I've decided to take a few seasons off, mainly due too many kids and family activities to name. Otherwise, I'd have considered putting the work into it myself and getting out there on the water.
Basically, it's a solid boat from a solid manufacturer that needs a little tender loving care. A perfect project for somone who is willing to fix the engine, address the cosmetic repairs, and apply a good coat of wax and teak oil to the exterior.
The boat is being sold "as is" where it is. It is presently stored in Island Heights, New Jersey. Feel free to e-mail with any questions. I will do my best to offer as much addtional informatoin as possible.
