Volkswagen Bus (Transporter Type II). The bus is in decent shape. It does not
need major reconstructive work in order to be in excellent condition. It was a
daily driver for many years, but has not been driven much in the past couple of
years.
The
engine was replaced 8 years ago, does not have too many miles on it. It does
crank and run, but there are no guarantees on the condition of the engine. The
seal around the windshield needs to be replaced, as well as the door panels and
kick panels in the front. The front seats need to be recovered, but the back
seats in are good condition. There is some rust on the body, but it is not
major, and could be fixed without any welding. There is no major damage to the
body.
It is
red with a white top, but the original color was brown with a cream top. The
seats are brown as well. It could be driven in town as is. Can't guarantee
highway driving.
