THANKS FOR CHECKING OUT MY AUCTION.  if you are checking out this listing, you probably already know how rare and unique this vehicle is.  this is THEE most sought after woody of the 50's.......bar none.  the most expensive edsel, when it was built.  only about 600 of these 9 passengers came off the assembly line.  how many do you think are left ??? how many with less than 100k original miles ??? how many with just two owners from new ??? how many with the unique driveablility options, and current styling cues have you seen??  thought so..........................so if you don't mind creating a scene and drawing attention everywhere you go............this edsel may be your ticket.  originally a california car, spent its years with the original owner in the california high desert, until i obtained it about 20 years ago.  since that time i have replaced almost everything that can be replaced.  the 361 police interceptor engine was rebuilt about a year ago, trans was rebuilt, rear end changed, teletouch was gone thru years ago, steering components, power steering, brakes were upgraded to mustang power front discs, on 2" drop spindles.  now the car is safe and stops well.  don't try stopping this monster too hard with the factory drums........not enjoyable.  air shocks, recent wood decals, paint is 2007 gmc tahoe dark teal.  it has blue mica in the paint, so it changes in the light.........with clearcoat and colorsanded and polished,, of course.  rear windows are all limo tinted.  still has the original front facing 3rd seat, which is removeable. front seat was redone in original material.  the rest of the interior is still original, with a couple of small tears on the seats and headliner.  frenched antenna and monotone paint scheme.  dual exhaust with chrome tips after the exhaust goes thru cherry bomb type mufflers, to give it a nice deep, but not overpowering sound.  surround sound system features dvd/cd/mp3 multi format capabilities, power amp, sub woofer box, moveable rear speakers and tweeters.  lots of bump, and the coolest part is that the dvd screen is hidden under the flip up center dash speaker grille, for entire car theater like viewing and stock appearance when not in use.  wink mirror for no blind spots.  rare hooded side view mirror, frenched antenna completes the updated look.  no a/c but a period aftermarket a/c unit is included in the sale, in case you desire to add a/c at some point.  windows and seats are manual, so you don't have to worry about power units breaking down.  additional gauges for oil, temp and amps.  almost no rust.....impromtu repairs on a small spot on passenger front floor, and by 3rd seat.  solid car.  17" billet specialties 5 spoke billet aluminum wheels and pretty fresh tires.  rear wheel wells modified to allow them to fit inside.  original rare boomerang tailights.......not reproductions.  can easily be put back to stock, if that is your preference.  needs door seals.  rear cargo area is carpeted.  all the seats lay flat for storage too.  seat belts for 8 installed.  all rare bermuda scripts go with car.  truely a head turning vehicle.............and a hit wherever it goes.  i've never formally entered it in  a car show, so you could be the first to come home with a trophy.  ready to wow at show and shines.  drive across country tomorrow with no worries.  this car has been the key of my collection for the last 20 years, but it is time for someone else to enjoy the car as much as i have.  shippping is the sole responsibility of the buyer.  i will cooperate with shipping efforts as long as it is not with das..............they are a problem.  only bidders with 10 or more feedback scores allowed to bid without prior contact and consent.  deposit of $500 due within 48 hours of auction end.  please ask questions before hand............bidding is a contract.  no scammers please. immediate payment necessary with buy it now,  or for deposit of $500 upon auction end without buy it now.   you just saw a common 6 passenger sell for $20k so bid to win or don't lose out and buy it now.  subject to local sale prior to auction end.  feel free to inspect prior to purchase.
