Locking Fuel Caps for Boats How many gallons of fuel does your boat hold and what would it cost you to replace it if stolen? Up for bid is a newly developed 1 ¾” single marine locking fuel cap designed to replace current flush mounting fuel, water or waste covers. No moving parts or locking mechanisms are used which can “seize up” when exposed to moisture or salt water. These fuel caps utilize over 40 unique pattern designs similar to locking wheel lugs and require a matching key design to remove them from the filler housing. These caps are direct replacement for 1 3/4” filler housing covers, made of high quality stainless steel and are fast and easy to install. We have 2 sizes available, 1 3/4” or 2 3/32” offered in single cap packages or dual cap packages, (dual cap packages contain matching cap key designs). All packages include 2 keys, key wrist band tether and replacement keys are available if lost. Cheap Insurance for boats left unattended in marinas, on moorings or in storage yards. Note: These caps are non-vented and only fit flush mounting filler housings as shown in the pictures. May not fit all filler housings so please measure your boat cap prior to ordering as all sales are final once the package has been open. While it’s difficult, (like the locking wheel lug nuts) these caps, (if not tighten down tightly) can be removed from the filler housing and are to be considered as only a deterrent for fuel thieves.
