In this auction, you are purchasing a 1973 BMW 3.0 CSI parts car. Check out my other auction to see where the engine and transmission from this car ended up. This car does have an engine and transmission (4 speed), but they are in parts and inside the car--literally inside the car. The body of the car is badly rusted and the interior is in very rough condition (it sat in the previous owner's back yard in Las Vegas Nevada without a car cover).
There are leather seats, and a console, etc. There is a windshield wiper motor; wiring has not been torn out. Some of the rubber is worth using. Lots of the chrome strips are better than most you see on cars this age. See pics. There are lots of bits and pieces that can be used on the car BUT DO NOT ASK ME TO INVENTORY THEM BECAUSE I WILL NOT ATTEMPT IT! Please look at the pics. Please come see the car before bidding.
The car steers but there are no operable brakes. The tires are not flat and roll fine.
The car has a cover ($100+ value).
The car must be moved within 2 weeks of auction's end. Payment can be made by cash or by cash--that is it.
There is no title. I will give you a bill of sale. I did not get a title with the car, don't know where or when it was last titled. I had the car towed on a trailer from Las Vegas to Flagstaff, then from Flagstaff to Albuquerque on a separate trip. Encountered no problems when going through ports of entry. The car is so obviously not operational it does not raise law enforcement's suspicions.
