I am re-listing this bus due to a non-paying bidder. For whatever reason, it just didn't work out.
PLEASE, Only bid if you have the $$ available and can pick up with cash or verifiable cashier's check within 7 days of auction's end.
You are bidding on a 1994 Blue Bird TC 2000 Bus. The bus has a clear title. It was formerly owned by the US Government and was used at the Naval Base in San Diego and is currently owned by a church in Bourbonnais, IL since 2005. It has a New/Remanufactured 5.9 Cummings Turbo Diesel Engine with approx. 75K miles on it. You can run this bus at 70MPH and it SCREAMS FOR MORE! It is a really smooth running bus.
Bus has air brakes.
45 Passenger. Interior is a 7 on a scale of 1-10. It has air conditioning, but the new owner will need to service or repair it. Not sure what is wrong with it, we hauled kids to camp and such so air wasn't important to our needs.
Tire tread is good.
The missing taillight in photos has been replaced.
This bus has been used as a church bus. We bought the bus in 2005, flew to California and drove the bus cross-country to the Chicago area (we are about 45 miles south of Chicago). It has since made trips from Chicago to Knoxville, TN, Cincinnati, as well as many local trips.
The bus has an air ride seat, and the overall condition of the bus is good, as you will be able to see in the pictures.
We need to sell this bus. We need to raise some $$ for another church project.
This bus is being sold as is. No warranty is implied. It is for local pick-up only in Bourbonnais, IL.
We also reserve to end the auction at any time because the bus is also offered for sale locally.
New owner will be required to provide proof of insurance prior to picking up the bus. We will not release the bus to new-owner without this information.
