1970 Fiat 500L Micro Car

This cute little car is a head turner. I purchased it about 2 years ago from out of state. It has the US title. This rare car is about 10 feet. Smaller than the old Mini Cooper. Seats 4 people. It starts right up and it runs well. 4 speed manual. Gear shifting is tight and clean. Brakes are good. No skipping on the clutch. My mechanic fixed all the electrical parts (it wasn’t working right when I first got it). Lights & wiper works. The front seat track cannot be moved. You might have to lubricate a little. But it is perfectly fit me. The gas tank is approx. 5 gallons and it gets about 55 MPG. Exterior paint job has done by the previous owner years ago. It does show sign of age and there are some blemishes, chips, few bubbles and cracks. But it doesn’t affect the beauty of it. Floor carpet is in good shape with no tear. I have rubber mats on top to protect. Back seat has a tiny cut and a couple of the cigarette burns. Both front seats have seat belt. Knee padding has a crack. There is some rust on both side of the inner fender corners and little by the front hood hinge. It should be easy to fix. I did not fix it because it doesn't bother me. Other than that, you should see only some surface rust on the bottom and it is normal for its age. Car is white with black interior. Door panels are burgundy. Both have no tear. There are speakers in the back and it has wire in the front to hook up to a stereo. Battery is okay. Excellent condition spare tire. Wheel covers are special and unique. It is used but in good shape. I ordered them from a microcar collector. I have 1 set of key. Mileage is as shown in the odometer in kilometers (not actual). This is Luxury version offered from 1969 to 1975. As the Euro keep going up, the value of the car has also raised.
I have put in almost $2000 on this car. Please see the investment I have made below. Garage kept. I drive about twice a month and I never drove in the rain. Mechnically is great! It looks attractive from outside. You can work on the interior a little to make it more outstanding. Hey, this car is almost 40 years of age. It is still standing and running. Don't miss this opportunity to own this rare little cute car. Insurance is cheap! If you have good record, you can purchase the special insurance. I paid about $120 a year. A total restored car will cost $10,000 to $15,000. I have met a person in the Fiat 500 club and he had spent over $25,000 to ship a modified one to New York.
