1989 Flxible 30 Passenger Transit Bus (#50)

Vehicle Description

This is a no reserve auction for a 1989 Flxible (30’ Medium-Heavy Duty) transit bus with 354,118 miles as of May 31, 2008 (hubometer). Bus #50 (Serial No. 1GF5EAFK0KD100751) has a Detroit Diesel 6V92 engine with an Allison 730 V-drive automatic transmission and a Thermo King A/C unit. It is not a wheelchair lift-equipped bus.

Repairs over the years have included a rebuilt engine at 221,328 miles (5/15/97), a remanufactured engine at 336,154 miles (9/15/04), two replacement generators at 233,038 miles (11/24/97) and 352,608 miles (9/21/05) and a replacement A/C compressor at 289,351 miles (6/24/99).

The bus has scratches, dents and rust that should be expected for a nineteen year old city transit bus. The vehicle is being sold “as is” and “where is” with no written warranties and/or guarantees. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick-up or shipping that is to occur within a reasonable time period after the auction ends, generally within 30 days.
